Africa's Top Safari Destinations
Tanzania
Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. The wildebeest migration is the largest wildlife movement on earth — timing matters enormously. We plan around the migration corridor, not around fixed dates.
Kenya
Masai Mara. Arguably the most dramatic game viewing in Africa. The Mara River crossings during the migration season are unlike anything else in the natural world.
Botswana
Okavango Delta and Chobe. The most exclusive safari destination in Africa. Low-density tourism by government policy. Private concession camps, mokoro excursions through the Delta, extraordinary elephant populations in Chobe.
South Africa
Kruger and the private reserves (Sabi Sand, Londolozi, Phinda). More accessible than East Africa, exceptional Big Five game viewing, and some of the finest lodge properties in the world. Good entry point for first-time safari clients.

Private Game Reserves vs. National Parks
National parks are stunning and ecologically significant. Private game reserves adjacent to national parks offer something different: exclusivity. No other vehicles at a sighting. Night drives. Walking safaris. Off-road tracking. A guide who knows this specific piece of land.
For luxury safari clients, a private conservancy or exclusive-use camp is almost always the right choice. We know which ones deliver and which ones trade on reputation alone.
Inter-Camp Aviation
Fly-In Safaris — Private Aviation Between Camps
Africa's finest camps are not always accessible by road. They are reached by light aircraft — bush strips carved into the wilderness, with a vehicle waiting on the other side.
We arrange all inter-camp aviation as part of the safari itinerary. For clients arriving from abroad, we coordinate private jet charter to Nairobi, Johannesburg, or Dar es Salaam, and then the full bush aviation sequence from there.
Traveling with Children
Family Safaris — Planning Around Children
A safari with children requires different camps, different pacing, and different activity options. Not all camps accept young children; those that do vary enormously in how well they actually accommodate families.
We have specific knowledge of which camps are exceptional for families — with junior ranger programs, child-friendly vehicles, and guides who are skilled at engaging young travelers. We also know the minimum ages for walking safaris and which activities work for which age ranges.
Timing
When to Go — Timing Your Safari
The right time to visit depends entirely on your destination and what you want to see. The wildebeest migration through Tanzania and Kenya runs roughly July through October — but the exact crossing dates vary by year and require on-the-ground intelligence to plan around. Botswana is extraordinary year-round but outstanding in the dry season (May–October) when animals concentrate around water. South Africa is accessible and rewarding in all seasons.

The migration runs year-round in a circular route between the Serengeti and the Masai Mara. The most dramatic river crossings typically occur July through October in the Mara. We plan around current tracking data, not fixed calendar dates.
Twelve to eighteen months in advance for peak season in the best camps. The finest private camps — particularly in Botswana and the exclusive Mara conservancies — are often fully reserved well in advance.
We can arrange sealed certified kosher meals for game drives and inter-camp flights. Remote lodge kitchens have limitations, but we brief every camp in advance and find workable solutions for every client.
